CAN I CUSTOMISE A CAKE?

Unfortunately we no longer offer cake customisations, and we are only accepting standard cake orders as per our menu found in ‘our bakes’.

ARE YOUR bakes HALAL?

Our cakes are not certified Halal. However, our bakes do not contain alcohol or gelatin unless otherwise stated.

 

DO YOU HAVE GLUTEN FREE/SPECIAL DIET CAKES?

Our cakes are not gluten free/dairy free/eggless/vegan. Also, kindly note that although some of our products do not contain nuts, they are made in a kitchen that handles nuts.

 

can i order tea cakes?

Tea cakes and individual cake slices are only available in-store (bakes on daily rotation)!

DO YOU DO bulk orders?

Unfortunately, we are unable to take in large orders as we are only a small team of 2 operating on limited capacity, managing both online orders and daily in-house operations.

 

HOW LONG IN ADVANCE SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?

As all our bakes are made to order, we are unable to accommodate for short notice orders and thus require orders to be placed 4 full days in advance. We also recommend placing orders 2 weeks in advance to secure a slot as we operate on limited capacity!

 

WHERE DO I PLACE MY ORDER?

You can place your orders through our order form here and we will send you an invoice for payment after reviewing your order. Please note that your order will not be confirmed until payment is made. You may leave us a message here for any enquiries, or drop us a WhatsApp message at 9248 7088.

 

WHEN AND HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENT?

Payment is to be made through bank transfer or PayNow upon receiving the order invoice from us. Bank account details will be provided together with the invoice. Your order will only be confirmed and processed when full payment is received. 

 

DO YOU PROVIDE DELIVERY?

We recommend making your own delivery arrangement or self-collecting your order at our brick and mortar, 1 Everton Park #01-43 Singapore 081001. Alternatively, delivery is available at a flat rate of $20 per trip (note that The Better Half is not liable for any damage to your order that may occur during its journey once it is sent out for delivery).

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

As we are operating on limited capacity with only a few order slots available each day, we require a 7 full days lead time for any cancellation requests in order for us to free up the slot for another customer and to process a full refund. We will only be able to offer a 50% refund for cancellation notice less than the stated lead time.
